About the Role
The Drew School is seeking a Boys Assistant Baseball Coach to support its commitment to diversity and inclusiveness. This is a temporary/seasonal position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize practice sessions
- Attend and support interscholastic competitions
- Instruct soccer players on proper rules, regulations, and etiquette
- Communicate with players, parents, and administration
- Drive school vehicles
- Serve as a mentor to student-athletes helping them develop academically, physically, and socially
- Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid California driver's license
- Fingerprinting verification
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified
- ASEP or NFHS Coaching Certification
- Must be available during after-school hours weekdays, between 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends as scheduled
- Provide a thorough list of all previous K-12 School and Educational Institution employers, including the city and state of the employer
