About the Role
CAMP Facility Services is seeking a dedicated professional to evaluate construction deficiencies, determine necessary improvements for code compliance, and create comprehensive scopes of work for repairs. This role involves collaborating with clients, sales teams, and adjusters to provide accurate estimates and facilitate effective communication throughout the bidding and repair process.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate construction deficiencies at multi-family properties and determine necessary improvements for code compliance and property standards.
- Create comprehensive scopes of work to repair property issues as requested by management.
- Work with supervisor to ensure accurate cost estimates of damages and complete bid packages.
- Inspect job sites with client, sales, and adjuster to prepare detailed scopes of work and repair estimates in Xactimate.
- Communicate effectively and negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters.
- Facilitate communications between the adjuster, client, and Sales representative.
- Provide insurance industry expertise to the Sales representative during contract negotiations.
- Provide Operations with appropriate scopes of work and assist with hard cost estimating.
- Work with office staff to ensure proper documentation during the bidding process.
- Assist in providing proper information for invoicing.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to recognize and repair construction deficiencies.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements
- Construction experience required, multi-family preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Communicate effectively with Company staff, contractors, and customers both orally and written.
- Maintain a cooperative and collaborative working relationship with a variety of Company staff, contractors, and customers.
- Travel as assigned.
- Experience in NAV, ProCore, or Sage preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, including ability to work with a variety of subcontractors.
