About the Role
BDO's Project & Infrastructure Advisory team are industry leaders in the planning and delivery of city and region shaping infrastructure projects and have recently launched a new national Real Estate Advisory offering. Our Real Estate Advisory team works with government and private sector clients across a range of sectors including residential development, social and affordable housing, Built to Rent (BTR), transport, health, as well as across traditional institutional investment. With unprecedented expenditure across a range of these sectors coupled with our market leading experience and deep industry networks, our team is growing and is looking for new and exciting individuals to join.
Responsibilities
- Deliver real estate specific engagements including valuation advice & report writing, development feasibilities, acquisitions & disposals, transaction management, strategic real estate advice, and financial modelling and analysis.
- Participate in business development activities, including client engagement.
- Assist with engagement pursuit strategies, proposal preparation, and tender process management.
- Manage and coordinate third-party sub-contractors.
- Assist other divisions with specific engagements/projects.
- Share market environment and industry trend awareness across the firm and with clients.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in property economics or a real estate-focused degree.
- Certified Practising Valuer Accreditation (recently achieved or substantially on the path).
- Previous experience and/or exposure to general real estate advisory across government and/or the private sector is desirable.
- Strong collaboration skills gained from working across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Understanding of real estate related technical competencies and ability to interpret technical reports.
- Capability with delivering property valuations, real estate advisory, and/or market research reports.
- Well-developed presentation and report writing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
