Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation & Execution of the Employment Training Program.
- Oversee Youth Force internship program for Larkin Street Youth Services clients.
- Responsible for interviewing and hiring staff for the Youth Force program team, as well as supporting interviewing and hiring for other Workforce staff.
- Supervise record keeping for programs the role oversees, including intern employment documentation and timecards.
- Provide weekly supervision to ETP and Youth Force Staff.
- Facilitate regular Team meetings with staff.
- Attend meetings, manage communications, and collaboration at various Larkin Street program sites and external agencies to support Larkin Street clients, staff, and to facilitate coordinated care as directed by supervisor.
- Contribute to Larkin Street Youth program refinements in ways that meet employers’ needs and expectations.
- Create engagement and support plans for client participants with higher needs.
- Assist staff to developing curriculum for life-skills classes, including job readiness, job development and retention, college success and career planning, and independent living skills.
- Participate in all management meetings, weekly staff meetings, and all other relevant or required agency or contract/community/grant partner meetings.
- Participate in agency planning activities.
- Facilitate and encourage high cross-coordination and collaboration with LSA and Engagement programming.
- Run weekly database reports for ETP & Youth Force Program and report relevant contract data to Associate Director or other departments as needed.
- Develop curriculum for life skills classes and support staff in facilitation.
- Hold regular new client orientations to set program expectations and complete new-hire paperwork.
- Participate in afterhours On-Call rotation for housing programs.
- Manage program budget and submit monthly expense report.
- Actively participate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) work within the agency along with managing programs with a lens on DEI.
- Lead staff teams through the successful implementation of Larkin Streets' strategic priorities, ensuring that services and decision-making are aligned with the strategic plan.
- Strong commitment to the agency and philosophy of Larkin Street Youth Services.
- Maintain an awareness of the agency's mission and work to promote the positive individual and social change goals it embodies.

- Exercise discretion and professional judgment at all times keeping with the responsibilities carried personally and by the agency for the care and welfare of the youth we serve.
- Actively strive to upgrade professional skills through engaging in appropriate professional training and experience.

Requirements
- You have 2-3 years of experience in workforce development, academic or related discipline.
- Your 1-2 years of supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
- You have transferable leadership experience, leading workforce development and/or youth development programs.
- You have experience working in a multi-cultural, diverse environment.
- You hold a valid Driver's License.
- You have previous experience working with homeless, at-risk, and runaway youth preferred.
- You are eager to work with Transitional Aged Youth (TAY), aged 18 to 25 of diverse backgrounds, similar to the client base at Larkin Street Youth Services.
- You are a self-starter and team player.
- Your colleagues describe you as organized and collaborative.
- You are willing to serve as an After Hours On-Call Supervisor for 7 days, every 6-8 weeks.
