About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute all event catering, including food and beverage.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, recipes, and specifications.
- Participate in company-wide cost-saving initiatives.
- Cooperate with the implementation of cooperative training programs.
- Demonstrate passion for culinary knowledge through menu development and specials.
- Ensure constant sanitation, kitchen organization, food handling, and cleanliness.
- Cultivate a kitchen environment conducive to learning and growth through hands-on leadership, delegation, and follow-up.
- Lead pre-shift and recurring property leadership meetings.
Requirements
- Experience in kitchen/back-of-house operations is desirable.
- High-volume catering and complex food service operations experience is desirable.
- Fine dining experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of café operations is a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs and activities, including following up with front-of-house teams.
- Flexibility for occasional long hours, with rotating schedules that may include nights and weekends.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to operate common kitchen equipment.
