About the Role
Commercial Fire Protection is seeking experienced Fire Alarm Technicians to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals looking for a long-term career in a rapidly expanding industry.
Responsibilities
- Service, inspect, and test fire alarm systems to prescribed standards.
- Perform on-site emergency troubleshooting.
- Program and repair customer fire alarm systems.
- Identify code and non-conformance issues.
- Prepare accurate and timely service tickets and reports.
- Install fire alarm systems as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Fire Alarm (CCTV, Intrusion systems, and Access Control experience can be included).
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, submittments, and operational/product manuals.
- Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices.
- Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
- Ability to work in difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service, strong organization skills, and a positive attitude.
- Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
- Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
