About the Role

This internship offers a motivated and detail-oriented individual the chance to support financial planning, reporting, business performance analysis, sales and project controlling, and management reporting within the Finance team. It's an ideal opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis, working with financial and operational data to support business decision-making, while developing analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support the preparation of recurring financial reports and KPI dashboards.
Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and performance drivers.
Assist in creating presentations for management reporting.
Perform ad hoc analyses to support business decisions.
Assist with sales pipeline reporting and revenue forecasting.
Support project profitability analysis and resource utilization reporting.
Assist in monitoring project financial performance and identifying variances.
Help prepare financial analyses for project reviews.
Prepare data for management meetings and leadership presentations.
Maintain financial databases and reporting files.
Collaborate with finance team members on cross-functional projects.
Support ad hoc requests from finance and business leadership.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Ability to intern full-time for 3-6 months.
Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. office locations. Simon-Kucher does not offer sponsorship for this position.
Ability to go into the office 1-2x/week.
