About the Role

Under immediate supervision, the Machine Operator will operate specific machinery, perform complex mechanical set-ups, and manage production lines. This role also involves acting as a group leader, making minor adjustments, and verifying the quality of own work.

Responsibilities

• Performs work in compliance with standard operating procedures and rotates through various stations on the lines as needed to ensure production needs are met.
• Performs and completes accurate and timely quality check sheets as defined on the machine checklist, understands noncompliant product holds, and makes corrective actions as needed.
• Performs standard run rates, increases efficiency, and reduces shrink by actively participating with team members to meet company goals.
• Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Complies with safety policies, participates in the plant's safety program, and is proactive with safety concerns.
