About the Role
Havenly is seeking a Manager, Fulfillment & Inventory Operations to own end-to-end fulfillment and inventory operations for Havenly's Owned & Operated (O&O) brands. This role is for an analytically sharp, tech-forward operator who wants broad ownership and will focus on making operations faster, smarter, and more resilient through automation and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Own fulfillment execution for O&O brands, ensuring accurate and timely order processing through 3PL partners.
- Maintain inventory accuracy across NetSuite, 3PL WMS systems, and internal tools; build monitoring to catch discrepancies.
- Define and hold SLAs from PO placement through inventory availability, returns processing, and order shipment.
- Own end-to-end returns operations from inbound receipt and condition triage through disposition routing, vendor credits, and recommerce/resale channel execution.
- Serve as the escalation point for inventory and fulfillment exceptions.
- Manage 3PL operational performance with a data-first lens, tracking trends, identifying root causes, and driving accountability.
- Own domestic carrier relationships and performance, holding vendors to shared service and cost expectations.
- Partner with Planning and Finance on inventory reconciliation, audits, and operational inputs to forecasting.
- Define and support Transfer Order protocols and required inventory flows for store and showroom locations.
- Align with the QC Specialist on inbound inspection standards, disposition criteria, and exception escalation protocols.
- Own functional costs and manage the operating P&L for fulfillment and inventory ops.
- Coordinate closely with the offshore operations team and global logistics function to ensure aligned execution across time zones and geographies.
- Partner with data engineering and analytics to design and maintain scalable reporting pipelines, operational dashboards, and real-time alerting.
- Use AI tools, scripting, and workflow automation to streamline exception handling, reporting, and SOP creation.
- Take automation priorities from operations leadership and carry them from idea to working process.
- Proactively identify manual or error-prone workflows and propose and execute automations.
- Document and systematize operational processes, turning one-off fixes into repeatable, auditable playbooks.
- Train partners and stakeholders on new processes and hold them accountable.
Requirements
- Experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, or a related field.
- Analytically wired; able to pull, manipulate, and interpret data.
- Comfortable using AI and automation tools to improve work processes.
- Naturally curious and excited by the overlap of operations and engineering.
- Builders, not just maintainers; compelled to fix inefficiency structurally.
- Take initiative without being asked.
- Confident, persuasive communicators able to translate between operational realities and data/engineering stakeholders.
- Scrappy with no ego; comfortable with both detailed operational tasks and presenting findings.
- Strongly organized with attention to detail; follow through, flag issues early, keep systems clean, and manage multiple workstreams.
