About the Role
The Bedrock Spa team is seeking a skilled Licensed Nail Technician to provide luxury nail services, focusing on exceptional client care and sanitation within a refined, community-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customized nail services including classic and gel manicures, pedicures, nail art, and other treatments as permitted by NYS licensure.
- Maintain the highest sanitation and sterilization standards in compliance with NYS regulations and Moss protocols.
- Conduct consultations to assess guest needs, preferences, and any contraindications.
- Educate members on nail health, home care regimens, and recommended follow-up services.
- Deliver luxury-level service while ensuring comfort, discretion, and professionalism.
- Maintain treatment areas to be pristine, organized, and aligned with Moss and Bedrock aesthetic standards.
- Collaborate with fellow spa practitioners to support integrated wellness experiences.
- Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and team meetings to maintain excellence and alignment with Moss values.
Requirements
- Current New York State Nail Specialty or Cosmetology License required.
- 2+ years of experience in a luxury spa, salon, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Proficiency in classic and gel nail services; nail art or advanced techniques a plus.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation, health, and safety standards.
- Exceptional guest service skills with a warm, professional demeanor.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- CPR/AED certification preferred.
- Independent contractors must maintain appropriate insurance coverage and provide a current Certificate of Insurance.
- Independent contractors must provide a valid Form W-9 upon invoice submission.
