About the Role
Manage all post-production projects from ingest to delivery, supporting editors and finishing artists, and working directly with the Director of Post.
Responsibilities
- Manage the schedule and status of every active project in post-production.
- Ensure editor availability and reallocate resources as needed.
- Coordinate and manage external vendors.
- Provide frontline creative feedback on editor work.
- Manage the feedback loop between post-production and internal stakeholders.
- Own the project-level post-production budget, including actuals and purchase orders.
- Assist in building and maintaining the department's operational backbone, including workflow standards and project management systems.
Requirements
- Proven project management skills to manage schedules, people, vendors, and budgets.
- Experience tracking simultaneous projects across different phases of post-production.
- Deep understanding of the post-production process to identify and solve issues proactively.
- Hands-on vendor coordination experience, including booking sessions and negotiating rates.
- Experience owning and managing a project-level budget, including tracking actuals and reconciling costs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively manage and motivate teams and vendors.
