About the Role

A private family with residences in Brooklyn, the Hamptons, and Sunny Isles, Florida, is seeking a professional, energetic, and highly organized Live-In Family Cook / Housekeeper. This role supports household operations, including meal preparation, laundry, and occasional childcare for two young children. The ideal candidate is discreet, proactive, dependable, and service-oriented, capable of thriving in a multi-location home environment. The schedule is Friday through Monday, 40-50 hours per week, offering a long-term opportunity with a collaborative family.

Responsibilities

Meal preparation and cooking for the family
Laundry management throughout the home
General household organization and tidying
Light organization projects as needed
Occasional childcare supervision when parents are away
Morning support during children’s wake-up routine
Occasional evening coverage through approximately 9:30pm to 10:00pm

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in a household or family assistant role
Valid passport required
US work authorization required
Willing to relocate; relocation assistance open for discussion
Excellent, verifiable references
No driving requirement
