About the Role
This position will provide transactional and analytical support for general accounting and financial reporting processes, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and handle accounting/financial projects as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly close activities, including general ledger journal entries and drafting financial statements.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare, coordinate, and document financial analysis projects (e.g., financial and expense performance, depreciation, working capital).
- Participate in intercompany initiatives to enhance financial reporting, standardize processes, and improve documentation and internal controls.
- Provide analysis for forward-looking financial and business projects.
- Prepare budgets/forecasts and analyze trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, and general business conditions.
- Offer financial support and analytics to various individuals and departments.
- Oversee invoice approval and payment, resolve Procure-to-Pay issues, and develop process improvements.
- Work independently and collaboratively.
- Contribute to or lead moderately complex project aspects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 1-3 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Knowledge of US GAAP basic principles and internal controls.
- Understanding of manufacturing accounting environments.
- Experience with Financial Analysis / Financial Forecasting.
- Experience working independently and leading complex projects.
