About the Role
Our Bartenders are engaging hosts with expert knowledge of food, wine, and spirits, known for their showmanship, attention to detail, and strong guest connections. They craft each drink to perfection while ensuring every guest request is communicated and delivered smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, setup, and ongoing maintenance of event spaces
- Craft high-quality drinks with consistency, speed, and attention to detail
- Warmly welcome guests, creating an engaging and energetic first impression
- Maintain strong situational awareness, anticipating guest needs and supporting team flow
- Offer confident recommendations on cocktails, wine, and beer, demonstrating solid menu knowledge
- Build strong guest rapport, creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests returning
- Personalize service for special occasions and dietary needs, with careful attention to allergies and preferences
- Collaborate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management for smooth, coordinated service
- Work with purpose and urgency, even during peak service hours
- Maintain the bar’s organization and readiness, check stock levels, support inventory, and ensure cleanliness
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- Valid Smart Serve certification required
- Proven experience in event service or hospitality bartending
- Ability to lift 30lbs
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
