About the Role

As a Piping/Plumbing Engineer II in our San Francisco office, you will exercise independent judgment to develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria, interpreting and utilizing information from the basis of design, users, project partners, field surveys, and code research to empower clients in achieving energy-efficient building solutions, saving global environments, and creating a better, greener future.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria.
  • Interpret and utilize information set forth in basis of design.
  • Gather information from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.

Requirements

  • BSAE or BSME required.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing piping/plumbing systems for healthcare, laboratory, industrial or institutional facilities.
  • PE License or ability to become licensed.

Skills

  • Strong spoken and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
  • Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Effective working individually and within team environments.
  • Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
