About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will ensure products meet the highest standards for safety, consistency, and compliance by working on the production floor, reviewing documentation, performing inspections, and supporting teams with quality guidance. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy help deliver products with confidence and care.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process testing and AQL inspections
- Submit samples for analytical and microbiological testing
- Review batch documentation and production logbooks for accuracy
- Approve pre-startup activities and equipment checks
- Release batch records and work orders
- Conduct daily audits and floor walks to ensure compliance
- Support teams with GMP, SOP, and documentation guidance
- Participate in shift review meetings
- Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift
- Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
- Flexible to work overtime based on business needs
Skills
- Proficiency with computers, tablets, and basic software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with systems like SAP, Oracle, AS400, PQM, or Captiva preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Understanding of quality systems and manufacturing equipment
- Able to read, write, and understand English
- Team-oriented and dependable

- Sunday - Thursday, 11:00PM - 7:30AM

- $24.48/hour plus $3.00/hour shift differential
