About the Role
LinkedIn is seeking a seasoned seller with a proven success in managing large, complex partnerships to join our Strategic Accounts (SA) Marketing Solutions team. You will be responsible for developing and delivering a sales strategy that drives revenue, while motivating a cross-functional team to hit growth targets by providing digital marketing strategy to our largest global customers. This role requires close collaboration with regional and global partners to influence account strategy, share learnings across markets, and contribute to global customer initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end commercial strategy and revenue growth for assigned strategic account(s)
- Build trusted relationships with senior marketing, sales, and business executives, serving as a strategic advisor to drive customer success and business outcomes.
- Influence customer investment decisions through consultative solution selling and executive storytelling.
- Lead complex, cross-functional account teams, aligning Sales, Product, Measurement and Marketing Science around a unified strategy.
- Advocate for customer needs internally by influencing product roadmap, go-to-market strategy, and operational improvements.
- Partner closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure a cohesive customer experience across geographies, sharing best practices and scaling successful strategies.
- Drive accurate forecasting, pipeline generation, and disciplined account planning to consistently achieve revenue goals.
- Stay ahead of industry, marketing, AI, and technology trends to proactively identify opportunities that create value for customers.
- Embrace LinkedIn’s values and foster a high-performance team culture by coaching account team members, promoting accountability, and encouraging collaboration across functions and regions.
- Travel approximately 20% of the time for customer engagements and internal meetings.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in a quota-carrying media sales, strategy or other similar roles.
- Experience working in a complex, matrixed, and cross-functional organization.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience growing Fortune 500 / Global Enterprise accounts & leading global customer strategies across multiple regions
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding growth targets
- Ability to influence senior executives internally and externally
- Proven ability to navigate & multi-thread across highly matrixed organizations
- Strong understanding of digital advertising, B2B & full-funnel marketing
- Experience developing multi-year account growth strategies
- Ability to synthesize customer, industry, and market insights into executive recommendations
- Demonstrated success driving innovation and executive sponsorship within strategic accounts
- Strong collaboration across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing Science, and Executive Leadership
- Growth mindset with a bias toward proactive, customer-centric problem solving
