About the Role

As the leader of the store team, the Store Manager inspires, mentors, and develops a team to achieve store sales goals and customer engagement. The role involves recruiting, hiring, and coaching top talent, maximizing store profitability through expense control and asset protection, and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit top talent to meet business needs and retain talent contributing to sales growth.
  • Promote a store culture of consistent coaching and feedback to develop a high-performing team while achieving individual sales goals.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales through styling and fitting customers.
  • Build business and client relationships through in-store events and client outreach.
  • Oversee the annual performance review process and ensure team members receive ongoing feedback.
  • Partner with District Manager and People Operations Specialist to facilitate discipline and termination when necessary.
  • Communicate with the District Manager regarding employee relations, skill development, and store operational needs.
  • Manage store scheduling within established guidelines to ensure proper coverage.
  • Support and execute directives from Visual Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing.
  • Embody the brand in all interactions with customers and peers.
  • Ensure Loss Prevention policies and procedures are followed.
  • Assist with financial/sales audits and inventories to protect the store from shortage.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of related professional sales experience in specialty or luxury retail.
  • At least 2+ years of management experience.
  • Strong leadership ability.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Career-driven, strong work ethic, and high performance standards.
  • High level of initiative/self-starter.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently operate a cash register following cash handling procedures.
  • Repetitive hand motion while operating cash register or computer.
  • Regularly interacts with the public in an often crowded and noisy interactive store environment.
  • Standing required for entire work shift.
  • Operate office equipment (i.e., computers, phone, fax, scanner and copier).
  • Must work weekend and night shifts.
  • Climb ladders as needed.
  • Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Occasional travel, often with little advance notice may be required (including air and overnight travel).
