About the Role
Anrok is seeking a Corporate Finance leader to own financial planning, measurement, and storytelling. This high-ownership, high-visibility role will report to the Head of Finance, manage board preparation, shape the investor narrative, own the corporate model, and lead financial planning. You will partner across functions to optimize investments and gain a holistic view of the business. This is an opportunity to build a finance function within a fast-growing, AI-native company.
Responsibilities
- Support board preparation and help shape the investor narrative, translating numbers into a clear business story.
- Own Anrok's integrated corporate model, including revenue, cost, headcount, and cash.
- Manage the end-to-end financial planning process and partner with Accounting and org leaders on budget-vs-actuals analysis.
- Partner with GTM, Engineering, People, and Operations on budget and COGS strategy, providing financial perspective on investments and margin.
- Serve as a thought partner to the Head of Finance on strategic decisions like capital allocation and cost structure.
- Build AI workflows for recurring corporate finance analysis using tools like Omni, NetSuite, Python, n8n, and Claude.
- Grow with the function, with the role's scope and ownership expanding as Anrok scales.
Requirements
- 8+ years in investment banking, corporate finance, or FP&A with experience in model building and assumption stress-testing.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional leaders and the executive team to support board and investor work.
- Deep fluency in B2B SaaS financials, including corporate modeling, gross margin, COGS, opex, headcount planning, and key board metrics.
- Strong technical foundation in three-statement modeling, GAAP, and financial systems/BI tools (NetSuite, Omni, SQL/Python).
- Demonstrated ability to form a point of view, make clear recommendations, and communicate trade-offs.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in AI-assisted workflows and automation (Python, n8n, LLM-based tooling, or equivalent).
- Comfort operating with pace and ambiguity in an early-stage startup environment, prioritizing effectively and structuring analyses independently.
- Excellent communication skills for executive and board presentations, cross-functional partnerships, and influencing decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field.
- CPA or MBA is a plus but not required.
