About the Role

The Agile Coach is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and guiding product teams, leaders, and stakeholders through Agile adoption and transformation initiatives across MTA-IT. This role advances large-scale Agile Transformation efforts by promoting Agile principles, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving continuous improvement. The Agile Coach partners with teams to enhance delivery practices, align outcomes with business objectives, and improve operational excellence. This position operates in a consultative capacity without direct managerial responsibilities, focusing on influencing teams, enabling cultural change, and supporting enterprise-wide Agile maturity in alignment with the broader MTA-IT strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Coaching teams on Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Facilitating training sessions and workshops
  • Implementing best practices and tools
  • Leveraging metrics to inform decision-making and improve performance

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience
  • At least 8 years of Agile coaching experience
  • Proven experience coaching for agile product transformations in large, complex environments
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience leading enterprise-wide agile transformation initiatives
  • Strong background in change management, organizational design, and driving cultural transformation at scale
  • Exceptionally capable people for this role

  • Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent credentials
