About the Role
We are seeking a fun, experienced, and professional mariachi instructor to teach part-time at our Northwest Austin location. This teacher will be instructing IN PERSON and is expected to start for the Fall 2026 school year.
Responsibilities
- Lead weekly group mariachi classes
- Provide engaging and structured private lessons
- Prepare students for performances, recitals, or community events
- Foster a fun, inclusive, and educational learning environment
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in Mariachi performance and instruction
- Ability to teach both group mariachi classes and private one-on-one lessons
- Strong knowledge of traditional mariachi styles, repertoire, and instrumentation
- Ability to lead and guide ensemble rehearsals with confidence and clarity
- Experience working with students of varying ages and skill levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, organized, and professional
