About the Role
As the Manager, Marketing Communications, you will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of integrated marketing communications to strengthen member engagement, support partner marketing, and drive business results. You will translate business priorities into high-impact campaigns, manage budgets, coach a Marketing Communications Coordinator, and identify opportunities to enhance the program's success.
Responsibilities
- Lead marketing communications strategy, developing integrated plans that support member engagement, partner marketing, acquisition initiatives, sponsorships, and new partner launches.
- Establish priorities and define campaign objectives in collaboration with business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- Oversee the execution of integrated marketing initiatives across internal teams, agencies, and external partners, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Anticipate risks, remove roadblocks, and provide leadership to ensure multiple concurrent initiatives move forward successfully.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management for the Marketing Communications Coordinator.
- Create an environment that encourages accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth for the team.
- Balance hands-on support with thoughtful delegation to help the team deliver exceptional work and build capabilities.
- Evaluate campaign performance, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and refine marketing communications strategies for improved engagement and business outcomes.
- Champion a data-informed approach, ensuring lessons learned are applied to future initiatives.
- Work closely with teams across Partnerships, Brand, Digital, CRM, Analytics, Creative, and external agencies to align marketing initiatives.
- Communicate priorities and deliver a consistent member experience.
- Provide oversight for internal communications and employee engagement initiatives, ensuring they reflect business priorities and brand standards.
Requirements
- Experience developing and leading integrated marketing communications strategies that align with business objectives and deliver measurable results.
- Ability to balance brand, member, and commercial priorities.
- Skill in translating business goals into compelling marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Ability to manage multiple high-profile marketing initiatives concurrently, bringing structure, organization, and sound judgment to competing priorities.
- Skill in building trusted relationships across cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to keep stakeholders aligned and campaigns moving forward.
- Experience using data and campaign insights to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and continuously improve future marketing initiatives.
- Comfort in making recommendations based on evidence.
- Ability to balance creativity with measurable business outcomes.
- Thoughtful communication skills to influence, collaborate, and build consensus across a wide range of stakeholders.
- Confidence, clarity, and professionalism in presenting strategies, navigating priorities, and partnering with agencies and internal teams.
