About the Role

docbraces London is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant to join their London, ON team. Canadian Orthodontic Partners supports docbraces London and a national network of clinics, focusing on personalized orthodontic treatment and exceptional patient care. Join a collaborative team dedicated to orthodontic excellence and building self-esteem through beautiful smiles.

Responsibilities

  • Bring patients in for their visit in an enthusiastic way, building a personal connection at every visit.
  • Ensure patients receive optimal hygiene treatment based on clinical findings and their goal for comprehensive oral health.
  • Help, educate, and improve patients’ lives.
  • Prepare and maintain all dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  • Organize, clean, and maintain a clean and sterile clinical area.
  • Perform Orthodontic Dental Assistant duties, including sterilization and lab work (manufacturing in-house retainers).
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work cohesively with team members to foster trust, respect, and cooperation.
  • Perform other tasks delegated or assigned by the Orthodontist or leadership team.
  • Possess great energy for a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Dental Assistant experience
  • Ontario Orthodontic Module
  • Successfully completed CDA (Completion of NDAEB Exam)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
  • Great time management and organizational skills
  • Experience in an orthodontic office is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with impressions and use of an iTero for digital scans
  • Ordering experience is an asset.
  • Treat Coordination experience is an asset.
  • Ortho2Edge experience is an asset.
