About the Role
docbraces London is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant to join their London, ON team. Canadian Orthodontic Partners supports docbraces London and a national network of clinics, focusing on personalized orthodontic treatment and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
- Bring patients in for their visit in an enthusiastic way, building a personal connection at every visit.
- Ensure patients receive optimal hygiene treatment based on clinical findings and their goal for comprehensive oral health.
- Help, educate, and improve patients’ lives.
- Prepare and maintain all dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Organize, clean, and maintain a clean and sterile clinical area.
- Perform Orthodontic Dental Assistant duties, including sterilization and lab work (manufacturing in-house retainers).
- Maintain a positive attitude and work cohesively with team members to foster trust, respect, and cooperation.
- Perform other tasks delegated or assigned by the Orthodontist or leadership team.
- Possess great energy for a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Dental Assistant experience
- Ontario Orthodontic Module
- Successfully completed CDA (Completion of NDAEB Exam)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Experience in an orthodontic office is preferred but not required.
- Experience with impressions and use of an iTero for digital scans
- Ordering experience is an asset.
- Treat Coordination experience is an asset.
- Ortho2Edge experience is an asset.
