About the Role

CBI Home Health is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our team in Toronto. We are a leading provider of specialized community services, home, and integrated care, dedicated to helping individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in maintaining their safety and independence in their homes.
• Provide personal care to clients.
• Assist clients with mobilization and perform light exercises.
• Observe, document, and report any changes in client condition to management.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in client care plans.

Requirements

• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (Home Support Worker Level I, II or III, Health Care Aid, Personal Attendant (PA+2), Developmental Support Worker, OTA/PTA, Paramedic).
• Internationally Trained Registered Nurse/ Registered Practical Nurse (RN/RPN), Midwife or Physicians.
• Students currently enrolled post-1st year in Nursing, Rehab, Medicine or Paramedicine programs.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification, Level C.
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 12 months.
• Proof of a negative TB test within the last 12 months and up-to-date immunization record.
• Ability to travel from home to home within the community.
• Commitment to work every other weekend, minimum 5 hours both Saturday and Sunday.
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs. (16 kg).
