About the Role

Oversees global, multidisciplinary research teams across automotive domains including connected car, electronics, chassis, ADAS, infotainment, and interior systems. Bridges technical research and product planning, supporting existing products and developing new ones with accountability for global revenue and product strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Define the global product roadmap to open new revenue streams and increase client retention.
  • Manage and mentor domain-specific research teams.
  • Lead customer insight gathering and market research to identify unmet needs and translate them into actionable product features.
  • Own the P&L of the product portfolio and shape global sales strategy and market penetration.
  • Partner with engineering, product teams, research, marketing, and sales for seamless product delivery and market traction.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in automotive technology and/or automotive planning at an OEM, supplier, or market research/consulting company.
  • Background in OEM feature planning is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the automotive ecosystem, with critical understanding of interconnections across systems and subsystems.
  • Proven ability to synthesize insights into high-impact thought leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in managing global, cross-functional teams and holding P&L/revenue responsibility.
  • Proven ability to create and deliver clear, structured narratives for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Approximately 15 to 35% travel required.
