About the Role

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced automation solutions within warehouse and parts distribution center operations, requiring hands-on expertise in programming, systems integration, analytics, and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Warehouse Management Systems using SQL/Java/http programming.
• Participate in the daily operations of Parts Warehouse, ensuring seamless integration of automation solutions.
• Integrate, develop, and sustain automation systems, including ASRS technologies.
• Design and develop dashboard analytics using tools like QlikView and Power BI.
• Lead the implementation of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotic process automation initiatives.
• Write high-quality product or system development code, adhering to best practices.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Review code developed by other team members, providing constructive feedback.
• Build platforms or data pipelines to aggregate and process data from multiple sources.
• Contribute to and adapt existing documentation or educational content.
• Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve product or system issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work training.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in software programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, C, HTML) and serialized data formats (e.g., JSON, XML).
• Experience in systems design, architecting complex system interactions, and building data pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to develop dashboards and perform data querying.
• Experience with database or analytics code development.
• Experience leading application modernization or architecture projects.
• Degree in Software Engineering.
• Experience managing large-scale software projects in corporate environments.
• Capacity planning for technical infrastructure.
• Experience developing web services and micro-services.
• Knowledge of network security, system design, and deployment of virtual machines and containerized applications.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Passion for engineering excellence, unit testing, and agile project development.
