About the Role
This internship provides hands-on exposure to complex sheet metal fabrication, precision machining, aircraft engine component manufacturing, and tool storage management within a fast-paced aerospace environment. Interns will assist multiple departments with daily activities, gain practical industry experience, and develop foundational workplace and technical skills. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals eager to learn, contribute, and work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist production, warehouse, and support teams with day-to-day operational activities.
- Support inventory organization, material movement, and tool storage processes.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and transportation of materials and components.
- Support fabrication and machining teams with assigned non-technical tasks and project preparation.
- Conduct basic inventory counts and inspections of tools, materials, and supplies.
- Perform basic data entry and update records using company systems and software.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company safety standards.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Communicate task progress and operational concerns to supervisors and team members.
- Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirements established by applicable federal and state labor laws.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn new skills and support multiple departments.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Skills
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software.
