  • Call confidently on all stakeholders — clients, agencies, social and PR teams — at all levels.
  • Collaborate closely with Rolling Stone’s marketing, events and branded content studio teams to ideate and deliver best-in-class, culturally resonant programs.
  • Apply a consultative, solution-based sales approach to understand client goals and translate them into compelling proposals.
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships before, during, and after the sale.
  • Respond to and lead RFP processes with strong, timely proposals.
  • Stay current on industry trends, audience insights, and competitive landscape to bring fresh thinking to every client conversation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of digital-first sales experience with a proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals.
  • Strong, established relationships with agency and brand-side clients across the key verticals of CPG, Beverage, Technology and Finance.
  • Deep expertise in integrated campaigns spanning digital, social, experiential, video, and print.
  • Ability to develop big ideas and drive revenue across multiple platforms simultaneously.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; exceptional presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in both collaborative and competitive environments.
  • Proven ability to grow existing business while continuously developing new revenue opportunities.
  • High sense of urgency with the ability to adapt quickly when opportunities arise.
  • Experience selling within a premium media, entertainment or music/culture brand environment.
