About the Role

Accruent is seeking a Strategic Pricing Analyst to be the analytical engine and tactical powerhouse driving corporate monetization programs. This role supports a shared services function, embedding with Product Managers and Product Marketing Managers to translate pricing strategy into sellable product packages and tiering structures. The analyst will act as operational support for portfolio consolidation, modeling, documenting, and transitioning product pricing into unified platform solutions. This is a proactive role requiring analysis of Salesforce/CPQ data, financial modeling, and competitive intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Support the structural migration of separate product lines into single, consolidated market offerings by partnering with the Senior Specialist and Product Management teams.
  • Map existing product pricing logic into unified platform constructs.
  • Partner with Pricing, Product, and Product Marketing to bring packaging decisions to market.
  • Translate pricing strategies into distinct package structures, defined value metrics, and practical customer-facing constructs.
  • Identify gaps between design and live execution to ensure packaging is sellable and consistent.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated pricing models for new platform packaging, standalone price changes, and consumption/usage-based structures.
  • Run scenario analyses (margin, discounting, migration impact, customer adoption) to provide data-backed recommendations.
  • Develop repeatable insights across discounting patterns, price realization, and margin performance.
  • Translate Salesforce and CPQ data into clear findings and build dashboards for ongoing visibility.
  • Act as the strategic operational bridge between technical product teams and go-to-market teams.
  • Partner with Product Managers to research customer willingness-to-pay and discover optimal value metrics.
  • Support the active monitoring of commercial compliance, tracking discounting behavior, pricing policy adherence, and packaging consistency.
  • Recommend corrective adjustments for anomalies in pricing and packaging.
  • Proactively manage the operational lifecycle and documentation of all new and legacy SKUs.
  • Own the data mapping for clean operational migration paths for legacy customers.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience as a Pricing Analyst, Financial Analyst, Sales Ops Analyst, or similar quantitative role within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Expert-level financial modeling skills with demonstrated ability to manipulate massive datasets, run scenario analyses, and build predictive margin/migration impact structures.
  • Strong proficiency extracting, analyzing, and synthesizing historical performance data from Salesforce and modern CPQ tools.
  • Self-starter mentality characterized by extreme proactivity, curiosity, and an innate drive to move projects forward without waiting for permission.

Skills

  • Advanced Excel Capabilities
  • Data Fluency
  • High Urgency Profile
  • Experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience or strong familiarity with product bundling, packaging transitions, or multi-to-single SKU portfolio migrations.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills
  • Experience in multi-product environments with complex software-plus-services configurations.
