Responsibilities

Oversee the photography darkroom and digital lab areas.
Mix and clean up chemistry for film and print development.
Interact with students and help them work in a safe and productive manner.
Circulate frequently between the darkroom and the digital lab.
Keep the facilities clean and orderly.
Work independently.
Communicate frequently in person and by email with the Chair of Photography.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in or have completed Art 111, Photography I.
Helpful to have completed Art 212, Intro to Digital Photography.
Strong grasp of basic photography technique including how to develop film and make darkroom prints.
Must be reliable, punctual, have good communication skills, and work well with students and faculty.
Priority consideration for students with a Federal Work Study award.
