About the Role

Tomlinson's Feed is seeking Delivery Associates to join their family. As a Delivery Associate, you will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering items to guests or businesses while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items to guests or businesses in a timely manner.
• Review orders before delivery to ensure they are complete and accurate.
• Load and unload items into vehicle in a safe and appropriate manner so that product will not be damaged during the delivery process.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handle complaints from guests.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Work with dispatching team to resolve problems including order accuracy, and guest communication if needed (wrong address, gate code, etc.)
• Train new drivers as needed (demo loading procedures, using OnFleet, ride-along, etc.)
• Complete training courses to build product knowledge and stay up to date on new promos, products, and procedures.
• Assist in-store between delivery runs.

Requirements

• Delivery experience is a plus, but not required.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to help others is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
• Must have up to date car registration.
• Must have a smartphone with the ability to use our delivery app to navigate.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis in order to pick and deliver orders.

Salary/Compensations

• Starting hourly rate of $15 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement of 76 cents per mile driven.
• Average Delivery Associate earns between $20 - $25/hour with mileage reimbursement.
