About the Role
As an Assistant Property Manager, you will be a key member of the Estate Management team, ensuring communities are well-maintained and efficiently run. You will support day-to-day operations by engaging with residents, coordinating maintenance, and maintaining records. This role offers career growth opportunities, with the potential to become a Property Manager within 12-18 months.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with clear, friendly, and professional communication.
- Maintain the property management system (Qube) with accurate and organized information.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs by liaising with contractors and managing work orders to ensure timely and high-standard completion.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety legislation and company policies to maintain estate safety and compliance.
- Assist with budget management, purchase order issuance, and financial reporting to control costs.
Requirements
- Experience with systems such as databases (Qube knowledge is a bonus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Clear and professional communication skills via phone, writing, and in-person.
- Experience working with contractors and managing reactive maintenance, or a strong aptitude to learn quickly.
