About the Role
Telemundo Austin is seeking an experienced Managing Editor/Anchor for its multi-platform Spanish-language newscasts. The role requires impeccable editorial judgment, broad knowledge of current events, and responsibility for the editorial content of daily newscasts and digital platforms.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- At least 3 years of on-air experience in a Spanish language newsroom, preferably with management duties
- Commitment to journalistic standards of ethics and accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and viewers
- Exceptional written communications skills on digital, social media, and broadcast
- Strong editorial judgment and a proven ethical foundation
- Ability to work under deadline pressure
- Maintain a flexible schedule
- Be available for community and station appearances
