About the Role
Combine sales, demand, inventory, and production planning on a central, AI-powered platform to make supply chains more resilient. As the first internal SAP IBP hire, you will support technical leadership in evolving the SAP landscape, bring in external consultant expertise, and translate operational requirements into IBP logic.
Responsibilities
- Combine sales, demand, inventory, and production planning on a central, AI-powered platform to make supply chains more resilient.
- Support technical leadership in the further development of the SAP landscape as the first internal hire in SAP IBP.
- Bring in external consultant expertise in-house.
- Work closely with operational purchasing (MM) and sales (SD) to translate their requirements into IBP logic.
- Assist management in preparing and conducting training for newly implemented features and customizations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for innovation, digitalization, and optimization in SAP IBP.
- Support 8 SAP colleagues with customizing, debugging, testing, and rollout.
- Partially or fully take over the technical leadership of sub-projects.
Requirements
- Reside and be registered in Germany (main residence).
- Successfully completed a degree, ideally in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Logistics.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience as an SAP consultant.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in SAP Supply Chain Planning.
- Understand how logistics functions in reality (e.g., supplier delays, seasonality, warehouse bottlenecks).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a role involving large IBP implementations or complex rollouts from start to finish (design, testing, go-live).
- Minimum 3 years of full-time employment with the same employer.
- Fluent German (minimum C1) and good English language skills.
- Willingness to travel to the headquarters near Berlin for onboarding, company events, and workshops (travel time counts as working time).
- Ideally, experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Ideally, experience with SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) and knowledge of transferring planning data back into ERP systems (ECC or S/4HANA).
