About the Role
The Associate Director will spearhead communications strategy, planning, reporting, and engagement for technology, corporate, and consumer clients. This role also involves contributing to new business development.
Responsibilities
- Oversee high-profile client accounts, setting strategic priorities and ensuring the successful execution of communication plans.
- Drive thought leadership campaigns, showcasing expertise and innovation in the PR industry.
- Write, edit, and proofread materials to maintain high quality and consistency in communication deliverables.
- Craft compelling pitches, press releases, and contributed articles to elevate client visibility.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
- Provide strategic guidance to the team in executing day-to-day communication programs.
- Contribute to the development of strategic recommendations that address client challenges and capitalize on opportunities for both current clients and prospects.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, fostering their professional development.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in PR/marketing or relevant experience in fintech/tech/VC firms.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a passion for excellence in work.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle and manage stressful situations.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, along with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
