About the Role
TALA is seeking a dynamic and customer-conscious Retail Store Associate for its central London flagship store on Carnaby Street. This role is key to ensuring a premium customer experience through positive interactions, product knowledge, inventory management, and store upkeep, while representing the brand's style, energy, and values.
Responsibilities
- Embody and communicate the TALA brand philosophy, values, and culture.
- Greet and assist customers, providing a friendly and engaging shopping experience.
- Offer product recommendations and styling advice.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
- Process sales transactions using the store’s POS system.
- Maintain a visually appealing store layout and ensure products are well-displayed.
- Assist with stock replenishment and product organization.
- Follow brand guidelines for store displays and promotions.
- Keep fitting rooms clean and organized.
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing new inventory.
- Conduct stock checks and monitor inventory levels.
- Report damaged or missing products to management.
- Follow loss prevention and security procedures.
- Ensure the store remains clean and tidy at all times.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Work as part of a team to meet sales targets and store goals.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Requirements
- Experience in a retail environment, preferably in fashion, activewear, or wellness.
- A genuine passion for fashion, activewear, or wellness.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, quick to learn, and able to thrive independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Strong visual merchandising instincts with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent multitasking skills to balance customer service, sales, and store operations.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Passionate about building customer relationships.
