About the Role
The Sizewell C Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.
Responsibilities
- Feed into the Lead Estimator and Head of Estimating to ensure consistency in estimating approach.
- Work closely with a Lead Estimator or independently to produce and assure estimating documentation.
- Develop estimates from 1st Principles for the Sizewell C Project work package.
- Feed into Balfour Beatty Estimating lead to ensure consistency in estimating approach.
- Act as a senior team member, developing prices and mentoring junior estimators.
- Manage stakeholders (e.g., planning, procurement) to produce the Estimate.
- Present, negotiate, and justify prices to senior leaders and external customers/partners.
Requirements
- Proficient in the use of Excel and similar software.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
- Infrastructure Main Contractor background, ideally in the civil engineering market.
- Commercial or operational background considered.
- Evidence of the right to work in the UK.
