About the Role
Knight Frank's Commercial Valuations team provides valuation advice across a broad range of UK commercial property assets for institutional investors, lenders, funds, property companies, and private clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded, MRICS-qualified Surveyor to further develop their career within a leading property consultancy, undertaking valuations across various commercial property sectors and coordinating major fund valuation instructions.
Responsibilities
- Undertake valuations of commercial property assets across the UK for secured lending, accounting, and advisory purposes.
- Support the coordination and delivery of major fund valuation instructions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted point of contact.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and timely valuation reports.
- Conduct detailed market research and analysis to support valuation advice.
- Monitor market activity, legal developments, and wider economic factors impacting the property market.
- Support business development activities and identify opportunities to introduce clients to the wider Knight Frank service offering.
- Develop and maintain internal and external professional networks.
- Work closely with colleagues across Knight Frank to share market insight and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Support Partners, Associates, and Graduates within the wider Valuation & Advisory team.
- Ensure compliance with RICS standards, Knight Frank best practice, and valuation governance processes.
Requirements
- MRICS qualified.
- Registered under the RICS Valuer Registration Scheme.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Broad experience undertaking UK commercial property valuations.
- Strong understanding of secured lending valuations and valuation methodology.
- Experience working with institutional clients, lenders, property companies, or funds.
- Familiarity with a variety of commercial property sectors.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong report-writing and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in the wider property market.
- Strong analytical and numerical ability.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple instructions and deliver to deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for developing client relationships and contributing to business growth.
