About the Role
Account Managers manage, supervise, and coordinate the activities of assigned Security Officers, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures across diverse client sites including Class-A Office Buildings, Luxury Residential Properties, Distilleries, Fortune 500 Companies, Financial Institutions, Telecommunications, Manufacturing/Industrial Factories, and Hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain security operations business plans, including program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.
- Provide input for service strategy development and research new services.
- Ensure successful implementation of new contract start-ups, covering personnel, material, training, subcontract, facility, tooling, and equipment needs.
- Proactively meet client needs by conducting regular meetings, addressing issues, providing expertise, and offering solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
- Organize operating activities with other functions and suppliers for optimal service and resource utilization.
- Create action plans for key problem areas and constraints.
- Review service and operating reports, resolving operational and maintenance issues to minimize costs and prevent lost coverage.
- Perform administrative activities for account operations, including data compilation, storage, and retrieval for reports.
- Partner with Human Resources to ensure thorough employee training on client, company, government, and customer policies.
- Coordinate and conduct site-specific OJT, client-specific training, and annual refresher training.
- Meet all contractual scheduled hours with minimal unbilled overtime and manage overtime costs effectively.
- Reconcile security logs against shift responsibilities and patrols; review incident reports and coordinate preliminary investigations.
- Perform account audits and off-hour visits, completing required documentation.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures for site-specific post orders.
- Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicle needs at client sites, maintaining equipment inventory.
- Maintain responsibility for assigned accounts and security personnel seven days a week.
- Be available via cell phone for emergency or placement purposes, responding promptly to all contacts/calls.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree and a minimum of two years of management experience in security or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Office software, eHub (preferred), and working knowledge of Internet programs.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (if applicable).
- Valid Security Officer License if required by the state.
- State Armed License, Certification in the use of weapons if required.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Available as needed to meet business needs.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos using the English language.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees, or organizations.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts with basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with accuracy.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
- Knowledge of Contact Management systems; Internet software; Inventory software; Payroll systems; MS Office Project Management software; intermediate to advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) software skills.
- Available 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, the ability to adjust focus, and the ability to see and distinguish basic colors.
