About the Role
Founders Forum Group is seeking a high-agency, relationship-obsessed operator to lead and grow its US presence. This pivotal role involves working closely with senior leadership to deepen roots in the US tech and investor ecosystem, turning one-off US events into an always-on network and connecting US principals to the global stage. The role is crucial for growing FF commercially in the region and shaping its US events portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead the pipeline of top-tier US speakers and VIPs across priority events.
- Identify US relationships with strong fit for FF's global stage and build pathways for engagement.
- Drive commercial discussions with potential sponsors and partners for US events.
- Help identify, shape, and launch new FF events in the US market.
- Develop and execute tailored outreach strategies and value propositions for US prospects.
- Leverage warm introductions and multi-channel outreach for senior, outcome-focused communication.
- Deliver white-glove, end-to-end handling of principals and their teams at events.
- Partner with content teams to align US speakers with meaningful themes and develop innovative formats.
- Activate relationships with US tech leaders, funds, corporates, government, and cultural institutions.
- Maintain a dynamic map of relevant US networks and identify timely opportunities.
Requirements
- 3–5 years in a relationship-driven role with senior stakeholder exposure in the US market (e.g., event/conference production, VIP relations, chief of staff, executive engagement, investor relations, strategic partnerships, head of comms, or government relations).
- Demonstrable success securing senior speakers, talent, or strategic meetings within the US tech and investor ecosystem.
- Strong references for judgment, discretion, and delivery under pressure.
- A genuine love of tech and startups; close tracking of the US ecosystem and ability to speak credibly to frontier themes.
- Elite relationship-building skills and an existing personal network within US tech, VC, and founder circles.
- Ability to earn trust quickly with principals and gatekeepers; respectful, persistent, and outcome-oriented.
- Creative dealmaking instinct: inventive hooks, tailored pitches, and smart sequencing of intros.
- Operational excellence: meticulous logistics, clear comms, accurate reporting, fast follow-through, and on-site calm.
- Outcome-driven and comfortable working to ambitious KPIs.
- Excellent written communication: concise, senior, and on-brand.
- Low-ego mindset: 'no task is too small or big'.
