About the Role

At Century Mold, we solve our customers' toughest challenges in the automotive industry through our problem-solving capabilities, supported by over fifty engineers and production facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating professionally.
• Adhere to and maintain all quality system procedures and requirements.
• Adhere to all safety rules and company policies, and enforce compliance through subordinates.
• Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality, and enforce the Attendance Policy.
• Support safety committee initiatives and projects.
• Administer company policies fairly and consistently to subordinates.
• Execute production schedule accordingly.
• Complete all quality checks and associated paperwork.
• Assign priorities to support groups including set-up, maintenance, prep, and mold repair.
• Manage pull board system.
• Fill out daily shift reports accurately to track production and complete associated paperwork.
• Ensure part quality and efficiency.
• Track attendance and administer discipline according to company policy.
• Write and administer routine performance evaluations for group leaders and operators.
• Manage 6S (continuous improvement) for manufacturing.
• Examine work for quality and conformance to specification.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems.
• Assist subordinates in performing duties.

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn new software as needed.

Experience Level

• Three to five years related experience and/or training

Education Level

• Associates degree (A.A.S.)
