Responsibilities

Definition and implementation of the infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals
Leadership and support of infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps teams
Design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures, including all project management activities
Monitoring of on-premise and cloud environments
Ensuring system reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness
Definition and enforcement of standards in IT governance, IT security, and compliance
Management of suppliers, external partners, and cloud service providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Driving automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
Supervising the administration and maintenance of our company software and accounts
Monitoring incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
Collaboration with development, product, and security teams
Management of budget, forecasts, and cost optimization for infrastructure

Requirements

Completed degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Several years of experience in cloud infrastructure, IT operations, or DevOps, including leadership positions
In-depth expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Extensive experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Solid knowledge of networks, security, and system architecture
Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
Experience in managing suppliers and external service providers
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, IT audits according to EU law)
Fluent command of German and English, both written and spoken
