About the Role
Our IT team is crucial for keeping Anaconda's 550+ employees productive, especially as we scale and integrate acquisitions. We need an IT Support Specialist who can independently manage a busy ticket queue and informally lead teammates to improve processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage user accounts, system imaging, device provisioning, and software installations across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
- Execute technical onboarding and offboarding for employees and acquisition cohorts.
- Answer, evaluate, and prioritize support requests, troubleshooting hardware, software, A/V, video conferencing, and network issues.
- Keep ticket data current and maintain accurate inventory records for computer equipment.
- Train users on hardware and software, translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance troubleshooting, documentation, and ticket triage.
- Guide and support teammates on complex tickets and recurring workflows.
- Collaborate with IT Engineers and Business Systems Analyst on infrastructure improvements and tooling decisions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in end-user IT support, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and inventory management.
- Experience supporting macOS, Windows, and Linux or a combination.
- Proficiency with mobile device management (MDM) platforms and inventory management systems.
- Daily use of AI tools for tasks like drafting documentation, troubleshooting, or triaging tickets.
- Experience interfacing directly with internal customers daily and maintaining strong working relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a lean team with minimal oversight.
