About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Traffic Manager to ensure the efficient operation of our creative studio. This role involves managing the day-to-day flow of work, optimising resource allocation, and ensuring creative teams have the necessary support to deliver exceptional work.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day view of creative resource across the Studio, ensuring work is correctly booked.
- Monitor workload changes and proactively reallocate resources when priorities shift.
- Suggest appropriate teams for new briefs based on availability and skillset.
- Identify upcoming capacity and ensure available time is utilised effectively.
- Alert teams to the following day's resource bookings and highlight any gaps, clashes, or potential issues.
- Verify that briefs are complete, approved, and ready before work commences.
- Follow up with project owners for missing information or unclear timelines.
- Set up projects within Kantata, our resource management system.
- Act as project manager for internal projects from briefing to completion.
- Collaborate with Producers, Client Services, and Creative Leads to balance priorities across multiple accounts.
- Escalate resource risks, bottlenecks, and scheduling conflicts early, proposing solutions.
- Support continuous improvements to resource management processes and ways of working.
- Produce regular resource reports and highlight utilisation trends.
Requirements
- Experience in a Traffic Manager, Resource Manager, Studio Coordinator, or Project Coordinator role within a creative agency or similar environment.
- Understanding of agency production workflows across creative, design, motion, and social teams.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable making day-to-day resourcing decisions, collaborating on timelines/feasibility, and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Confidence working with spreadsheets and project management systems.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Calm, collaborative, and solution-focused under pressure.
