About the Role
We are looking for you starting immediately at one of our German locations in Munich, Nuremberg, Berlin, Leipzig, Essen, or Frankfurt am Main!
Responsibilities
- Participate in challenging Data & Visual Analytics projects using agile SCRUM project management throughout all project phases.
- Take responsibility for the collection, integration, and analysis of global data from various systems and heterogeneous data sources.
- Identify relevant patterns, correlations, and trends in data to generate well-founded insights and decision-making bases.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and quality, and establish sustainable, repeatable analysis and reporting processes.
- Independently analyze business questions, define challenges, and develop suitable, customer-oriented solution concepts.
- Design and implement visualizations and dashboards according to established best practices and modern visual analytics methods.
- Develop customer-specific, interactive visualizations and scalable analytics applications.
- Create intuitive visual user interfaces and support UI development for optimal user interaction with data.
- Provide technical support to all company units, including business units and interdisciplinary skill teams, in the area of Visual Analytics.
Requirements
- Completed degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., Business Informatics, Data Science) or a similar qualification.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English language skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time professional experience in Data Engineering or Business Intelligence.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, and ideally Python.
- Experience with Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and ETL/ELT concepts.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Azure, AWS, and Data Governance are advantageous.
- High quality awareness, analytical thinking, and a strong sense for user-friendliness and visual design.
- Strong analytical skills, structured and proactive approach, and a healthy degree of pragmatism.
