About the Role
Warehouse Selectors are a critical part of the foodservice supply chain, picking orders for delivery to local foodservice venues. This is an active, physical role that involves operating equipment and handling products in varying temperature conditions.
Responsibilities
- Pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues.
- Operate an electric pallet jack and/or forklift.
- Organize and palletize product to build customer orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work in areas with temperature and humidity variations, including non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen environments.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 1 year relevant work experience.
- Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
- Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
- Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
- Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
- Work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily.
- 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
- 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
- 1 year Selection Experience.
- 2 years consistent work history preferred.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
