About the Role

NICO Europe GmbH is a leading provider of pyrotechnics in Germany with over 100 years of market experience. We are seeking support for our existing team in our Berlin dispatch center. As a growing company, we are passionate about providing professional, fast, and structured customer service. We need someone to passionately take responsibility for a smooth logistical process, with a particular focus on demand-based personnel planning, and the training, onboarding, and support of temporary and seasonal staff.

Responsibilities

Responsibility for the organization and ensuring a smooth daily logistical workflow.
Coordination and prioritization of tasks in the warehouse and dispatch area.
Coordination of workflows with other internal departments.
Early identification of personnel or organizational bottlenecks and development of suitable solutions.
Training, scheduling, and supervision of seasonal personnel.
Monitoring compliance with internal processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Operational work in the warehouse.
Goods receipt and incoming goods inspection, including unloading of overseas containers.
Ensuring proper storage of fireworks in accordance with current safety regulations.
Goods issue, order picking, dispatch preparation, and handover of goods to freight forwarders.
Internal goods movements using pallet jacks and forklifts.
Inventory management.
Warehousing and stock maintenance.
Cleaning and maintenance of warehouse areas and company premises, as well as carrying out minor repair work.
Maintenance and servicing of operational tools and machinery.

Requirements

Completed vocational training in logistics or a comparable qualification.
Physical resilience and high reliability.
Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
Confident use of MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Focused and concentrated work, even under increased workload.
Independent and structured way of working.
Friendly and professional interaction with customers and partners.
Forklift license.
Forklift license with additional training for reach trucks is a plus.
