About the Role
The Brand Operations Associate will provide operational, analytical, and administrative support for the management of LME-listed brands. This role involves supporting the end-to-end brand listing process, ensuring compliance, and engaging with producers and stakeholders for smooth operational delivery.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support brand applications from initial start-up to finalization, evaluating applications and providing feedback.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with LME brand listing requirements, including ISOs, Responsible Sourcing, LMEpassport, and chemical and physical specifications.
- Resolve and respond to warehousing and warranting issues related to LME-listed brands, coordinating with the Warehousing team.
- Process matters related to existing LME-listed brands, guiding producers through relevant processes.
- Support stakeholder engagement, review compliance submissions, and contribute to the development and maintenance of internal process materials.
- Contribute to the maintenance and monitoring of LMEpassport, LMEsword, and Salesforce.
- Support engagement with producers regarding LMEpassport submissions, including data review and validation.
- Monitor the LME Listed Sampler and Assayer and Tester lists.
- Take on responsibilities for new operational requirements as they develop.
- Be a proactive and positive member of the SPM team, representing the team at internal and external events.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the team’s digital files and records on multiple internal databases.
Requirements
- To A level standard.
- A good understanding of the LME / financial services industry knowledge or experience in the metals industry is useful.

About the Company
- The London Metal Exchange is the world centre for industrial metals trading.

- This incorporates strategic development of physical ecosystem, commercialisation, sustainability, management of physical market relationships, operation of the LME’s physical network including warehousing, approved brands list, responsible sourcing, and operation of supporting systems and management of regulatory requirements including operational resilience.
- The SPM team is split into three closely linked sub-divisions: development and strategic activities, operational activities, or systems management.
