About the Role
The Product Reporting Analyst within Client Operations APAC will play an important role in delivering high-quality product reporting across the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular focus on Japan-language reporting. Accurate, timely, and insightful reporting is central to how we serve our clients, prospects, and consultants. The analyst will maintain and produce standard marketing and client materials, as well as customized client reporting, while developing a strong understanding of the investment approaches they cover. This role offers the opportunity to build expertise in portfolio outlook, process, positioning, strategy, and the current market environment, while working closely with colleagues across Product, Client Group, and regional teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain standard product and client materials, with a willingness to support the team during peak reporting periods
- Produce recurring monthly and quarterly materials, including customized reports and client presentations
- Peer review team deliverables as needed to ensure accuracy, data reasonability, and a consistently high-quality client experience
- Partner with Investment Products & Fund Strategies and the Client Group to understand our investment approaches, client reporting needs, and the guidelines that govern marketing and client reporting activity
- Primarily cover Equity and Fixed Income products, with exposure to other asset classes as business needs evolve
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience in the financial industry, investment management, or client reporting
- Strong communication and writing skills in both English and Japanese
- Demonstrated capital markets, investment, and product knowledge
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills, with strong attention to detail
- Independent self-starter who works well in a team environment and can manage multiple assignments while delivering high-quality work against strict and competing deadlines
- Comfortable using internal and external systems and databases, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong interest in process improvement, automation, and the thoughtful adoption of emerging technologies, including AI
- Positive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism
