About the Role

Seeking a dedicated and open-minded student employee to support project funding within the Finance and Administration department, starting October 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Support applicants via phone and in writing, answer questions about the application process, and provide guidance on deadlines, documents, and process steps.
• Review incoming funding applications for completeness, formal eligibility, and adherence to requirements.
• Perform formal checks of usage reports and assist in requesting missing documents or information.
• Support the team with organizational and administrative tasks related to project funding, such as preparing documents, internal overviews, or standard correspondence.

Requirements

• Identify with the goals of the German Children's Fund and possess at least basic knowledge of children's rights.
• Currently enrolled in a relevant course of study (e.g., social work, non-profit management, social sciences).
• Independent, sociable, and communicative.
• Proficient in standard Microsoft Office programs, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Expected to remain enrolled in studies for at least one more year at the start of the position.
